Welcome to Akti Klisma Studios – a peaceful seaside corner we’re lucky to call home. My name is Dimitris, and along with my family, I’ve had the joy of welcoming travelers from near and far to our studios on the peaceful western coast of Thassos. We’re just outside the charming fishing village of Skala Kallirachi, right by the water, where the waves are your morning wake-up call and the sunsets are something you won’t soon forget.

We have just seven studios here – not too many, just enough to keep things quiet and personal. Each one can sleep up to three or four people and comes with everything you might need: a fully equipped kitchen, a fridge to keep your watermelon cold, TV, air conditioning for those warm summer nights, a private bathroom, and a balcony that opens up to the sea. They were all fully renovated in 2011, and we’ve been taking good care of them ever since.

Outside, you’ll find a garden where you can barbecue under the stars, play a game of table tennis or shoot some hoops with the kids. There’s shaded parking for your car, and of course, free WiFi for when you want to share your sunset photos (and trust me, you’ll take a few). The sea is just steps away, with a quiet little beach that often feels like your own private cove.

Our spot on the island’s main road makes it easy to explore Thassos, but many of our guests find they don’t want to go far. The view stretches across to Mount Athos and the Paggaio mountains, and just down the road, there are tavernas where the fish is fresh, the ouzo is cold, and the pace is blissfully slow.
